Tahoe TR - Feb 9th - Rose BC in mega storm

Ahhhhh, winter is finally here, and it came with a bang. Havent seen one of those storms in quite a while. Planned on doing Rose laps on Sunday afternoon, but after most resorts closed we decided to skin a bit.

We knew conditions were sketchy, but heard from friends who had been out on Tamarack in the AM, and the area had seen a ton of traffic.

Arriving at 1, we followed a highway of a skin track, and then did a couple laps. There was definitely "whumping" galore, so didn't do anything too bold.........but it was insanely deep and tons of fun (my deepest in years actually).
