    Boston

Who here still lives in Boston? Been and will be spending a good deal of time there in the coming months. Need a good handle on the mountain biking nearby. How's Cape Cod?

Lynn Woods is a lot like 'Nam in that there are rocks like you wouldn't believe and very little flow. I broke so many bike parts at those places in the '90s. They're great! If you ride those without hike-a-bike, please post the TR. I also rode Stow Woods, Callahan State Park, Nashoba Valley, and Upton Woods when I was growing up. I hear there's good riding around Needham now and some stuff on the south shore that I never bothered with when I was young.

Try Willowdale and Bradley-Palmer, on the border of Topsfield and Ipswich for xc with some flow. Bradley-Palmer is a bit too mellow to be exciting, but Willowdale hits the sweet spot between techiness and flow for me. The riding up around Gloucester is supposed to be nice, too, but I don't know it.

There are some things about rocky New England trail riding that I miss while I'm in the rocky mountains. Enjoy.

Hey d-bag - here's something for you to think about: maybe (just maybe) not everybody here has their little panties in a wad 24/7 and flies into a rage whenever somebody disagrees with them. Maybe these same mags don't take this place uber-seriously. Maybe this even includes the vast majority of the people who post here as opposed to you and like 20 other thin-skinned douchebags. Just something to think about. -JER

    Brookline? Yeah pretty much.

    Why is everyone white?
Well it's cold, damp and windy. Unfavorable climate for the highly pigmented crowd. Not all that great for white people either, really.

Why when I drive by Fresh Pond and Soldier Field, I always get lost?
    It works!!

For answers to your question, PM Rontele. Oh wait...

The Dog Town area near Gloucester is pretty cool. I haven't riden there in years but I've heard it has been getting better. Nice area out there where you can take a dip in the ocean during/after riding.
Aim for the chopping block. If you aim for the wood, you will have nothing. Aim past the wood, aim through the wood.
