Missed "Got Change?" Cue at Belleayre

Hi everyone, it's been a while.

This message is for the group of three mags at belleayre yesterday who asked if I've "got change", and I acted like a complete f'ing dolt and said no.
Sorry man. Yeah I've got change. I missed my cue and f'd up and whatever.

I do have a litany of lame excuses-

It's just that it was so unexpected.

I've had those stickers on my helmet and skis for something like 6 years and nobody has ever asked me about them. And I hadn't been on this board in over a year - it wasn't on the front of my mind.

So when you came to me ans asked if I've got change, I figured you were some kid f'ing with me (like someone who's never heard of TGR or this forum seeing that sticker and seeing if that guy really has change..)

    Whatever. I f'd up. Sorry.

    -steve
    (still had fun skiing yesterday.)

If initial contact is bungled, jumbled, mumbled or fumbled, proceed away from the civilian, preferably jumping the lift line to prevent further interaction.

They did actually seem to head off in a direction where there were no trails.. maybe to go OB? (this was at the summit, not in a lift line)

There is no OB at Belleayre. It is state land and you can ski whatever you want. Stuff is roped off to protect the masses. And - yeah - that place gets really good on pow days. Monday 2/10 was 18-20 and off the dial.
