Took a bit of a tumble at Bridger.

It was rockier than I thought...

    Glad you're OK.

So hard not to pull over when going that fast. You think, I'm going to wipe out so fucking hard when I exit this thing, then you wipe out twice as hard trying to avoid doing so.

So what happened? Catch the side trying to squeeze in some braking smears? Glad you didn't get too torn up

i'm trying to overcome it myself and just point it and know i can do it. of course, i've never been in a chute either.

also, why would you wreck when you exit? other than choking?

I guaranmotherfuckinte YOU would not point that whole section, I bet you would cry like a girl just standing on top of it.

Nasty crash, lucky no major injuries. That little apron is a good spot, with better coverage, to dump a little speed before the last choke.

My slough uncovered some rocks I hadn't seen while I was scouting the line. The weird maneuver I tried to do to avoid them tripped me up, and I then hit a rock with the tip of my ski and double ejected. It went downhill from there.

Its easy to say you would of been fine if you truly pointed it, but having fallen myself doing about 90mph in the skied out flatter runout of a big straightline sometimes its not that sure and a fall going fast on the flats is far more brutal than a fall on the steeps all other things equal. If you like to go fast sooner or latter you're going to get spanked.

    Glad you're all right.

Also, at least you're not rog.

Well that looked exciting! Glad you are all good. It's always a tough call between cutting a turn here or there to knock speed down a bit or just staying light and pointing it and it doesn't always work out for the best. No armchairing from me, it's a crap shoot sometimes , a bit of a game, and what a game to be playing!

This would not have happened on a ski with a bit more tail rocker.
