I have been able to update Gripen's blog for him. It is now me writing it for him as he is not able to. Again, thanks for the words, vibes, and thoughts that have been expressed.

Hope you are having some good dreams of flying down the mountain. White sparkling unsigned canvas in the sun falling away in front of you; with the whoosh of the snow in your ears as you dive down over drops, by rock walls and tall trees. Peace be with you. Thoughts and prayers with you and all you love and who love you.

from Gripen : Thanks for all the thoughts you have been sending. They are very meaningful as the past few days have been difficult. I am trying to stay positive which is proving difficult at times, but support I receive from you guys is of great help in such moments.

^^^^^^Likewise, thoughts and prayers to you to recover from this. I still remember when you posted about the vision loss while skiing and everyone was teasing you about it. Just never know what is in the future good or bad. I am pulling for you to make it past this roadblock you are at.+++++++++++++++++++++++++ to you++++++++++++++++++++

Come on Supreme Being, give Gripen a break. He's been through enough.

Keep your spirits up, E, we're all pulling for you!

I hate that we have to have threads like this. I don't know you Gripen but you are part of the family. More prayers coming your way.

And hey! I just bought a big bike - Intense M9 in Works Red (5% faster) to go with my Works Red SS . A good friend of mine does a fair bit of building at Moose and he whispered about a couple new trails. We'll have to hook up in the summer for a shuttle day.

I had a big crash on the stepdown/stepup/gap on Jean Guy last fall so figured I better get a big bike now. Too old for the little toy bikes!

Agreed. If you're caught up on some bullshit, read Gripen's blog. A quick dose of perspective. RIP.

Yet another blog: getting back on skis after a paradigm shifting year.

Excellent write up. Brought a tear to my eye. Skied with Ethan as part of the camp a few years back. He is one of maybe 3 or 4 people I've met in my life who are so nice and genuine and you immediately like right off the bat. Obviously others think the same way based on the turn out for the celebration. Thoughts are with your family. Excellent way to celebrate his life. Bet he wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
