    Butler Gulch TR

Saturday was the last day to have an official winter camping trip since Spring began Sunday at 5:33 am. My buddy Joe and I got to the TH early Saturday morning and skied up to our camp

Me skinning up on the splitboard

Doing a snow pit test... The snow was very stable! I did a pat test and it took 8 hard hits on the top of the column before a slab came out

Joe skiied and I snowboarded the rest of the day. The temps got to about zero, but the tent was relatively warm that night. The next morning we made a few runs and packed up camp and ski/boarded back to the car.

It works great. I stayed on top the the powder just about the whole time and it carves easily.
