that being said, turns out hand position is super helpful in getting out of the back seat

My seven year old skied a double diamond this weekend. Was tenative at the top with bad snow and a little cornice. Charging hard by the bottom. When he skied out some guy comes over and starts lecturing (coaching) him on hand position. When we got to the bottom, he asked me what that guy was talking about. I just said " he was psyched you were having fun".
