so unlike the rest of us who are training for AK, do you tell people you are training for Antarctica?

Is the total cost around $10K, $20k, $30k or more?
The cost varies from 9K to 16K depending on what kind of stateroom you want and if you are willing to share a room in the event that you are traveling solo. I went at the low end of the spectrum and the rooms were small but perfectly adequate. The only thing that spending more money gets you is a little more space in your room.

And yes I told everyone I was training for Antarctica .

Sick trip, awesome tr. Before you pay for one of those shots in print get the guy to clean all the dust up. Suprised he lets his shots out with that much dust. What a setting to ski in that place looks rediculous.

I guess I should have clarified this at the beginning. He was kind enough to give me the photos, which were shot in RAW and not processed. I debated whether I should even post them since I don't have any type of software to process them myself other than the free stuff that is available on Picasa.

Hey MMP, you know what they say about dropping a knee...

Flight got delayed until the morning. If anyone is in BsAs tomorrow night I'll be gorging myself on the finest grass fed beef on earth at Don Julio.

Wow! that is pricey. One could live quite comfortably in AK for a spring touring and do 10 epic heli days for that price including airfare. Or Spend an entire season in the alps, skiing better terrain with lifts for a little more than half that! Dont get me wrong, the views and terrain look amazing and snow quality looks decent but really it just seems like a more of a novelty ski trip more than a quality one.
