Eastsider's (Wasatch) Report - 2013-14
JTrue's thread is excellent covering West-side canyons, I appreciate all the Wasatch-angelos' and -angelinas' contributions.
Slaag Master's Snowbird thread is always worth tuning into. Thanks for those photos.
I am kicking this off for the 2013-14 Season. Inbounds/outta-bounds/slack-bounds welcomed. Questions about and the resort reports from Snowbasin, PCMR, DV, Powder Mtn, Wolf, Sundance and Canyons welcomed.Last edited by Lostinthetrees; 12-14-2013 at 05:15 PM.

Opening day; 23rd, for PC still on.
- This AM some hardcore set up their lawn chairs to overnight in front of Payday and to be on the 1st chair(s) up. Hope they have a fire-barrel going overnight. It will be bitter.
- Town and resort base looks like it got ~ 3" overnight. Probably benefited from the high winds overnight lifting the snow outta BCC and spreading the goods around the Eastside.
- All snow guns going full bore since yesterday.Last edited by Lostinthetrees; 11-22-2013 at 05:57 PM.

heard deer valley has a rule... can't have duct tape on anything or you're out. any truth to that?
duct tape currently keeps my car's side mirror in place. also great for ski pants, etc.

Wow. A utard thread went more than 10 posts before Rog noticed it and posted. A sure sign of the apocalypse.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I847 using TGR Forums"The idea wasnt for me, that I would be the only one that would ever do this. My idea was that everybody should be doing this. At the time nobody was, but this was something thats too much fun to pass up." -Briggs

I've heard that too, but i've also skied there with ductape on my gloves and had no problems... Someone should wear a one-piece made of ductape to test that rule.
I must have done 25-30 laps on saddleback's painted horse.(the only run open) Slapping out turns with slalom skis, is more fun then one might think.
Talking with mtn ops this afternoon they were saying they're going to try and get Doc's open next, which would be great...early season saddleback laps has to be the worse WROD option in the Wasatch.
