When I lived down in Ventura I used to ski Baldy all the time, awesome little resort, road totally sucked in a storm, but you could get some great little powder days there, without the shitshow of Big Bear.

Around the globe, children are about 15 percent less fit than their parents were when they were young.
In the United States, kids’ cardiovascular endurance performance declined about 6 percent per decade between 1970 and 2000.

Husky- 2-2 1/2 hrs max to Baldy from ventura, You go out the backway hwy 126 or 118, 4 1/2-5 to Mammoth. Set the cruise control at 90 and take a nap on the 395.
