Fat Bike races at Snow King, 14'! gonna try to make em' unique....

Picked out a few dates.
I am trying to develop a different format for these, possibly going about 1/2 way up the ski hill, and incorporating some jumps/man made snow berms, etc to spice the short track format up.
More to come, but put these on your radar.
Maybe style points for good air time!



Jan 7th - weekday evening race.

Feb 8th - In conjunction with SK 75th Anniversary Party and band in the evening.

Feb 17th - In conjunction with the Winter Fest week of events

Gonna be cheap, low key, raffle prizes, and hopefully a totally new format/style...
I'll see if I can run it by the brass to get a day ticket with each entry so anyone from out of town can ski and ride that day.

there are lots of plans in the works here in MN for races this winter, i will keep my ears open for some good fun rules, one place is even contemplating letting fatties on the lift for some gravity fat bike action!

The bros up in Canaan are big on bike hash, you could do one of those along with the race. Usually the day after as everybody has partied post race and getting up drunk the next morning and going for a bike ride to drink moar beer just seems right.
