I remember watching a show on tv about how the French Knights lost this battle they should have won against the English, But the French Knights rode out on honor to fight when provoked rather than waiting for an organized plan.
Wow those French take ski mountaineering to a whole other level-heroic.

Soooo badass. Grace and a sense of humor under massive pressure.
Watching Kilian Jornet run up that steep slope (probably at 3000m+) was impressive.
Good find 666!

Can't wait to watch the rest. Download here for $9: https://www.reelhouse.org/seb.montaz...euptespasbienl
Perhaps you're referring to the Battle of Agincourt? It's a great story (if you're British), which involves French knights trudging through a freshly plowed and rained on field while being pelted with arrows by British longbowmen. Those who had good enough armor to survive the barrage, or those who were fast and lucky enough to reach the British lines without being ventilated, were so exhausted from their wallowing, that they put up little resistance as British archers beat them with wooden mallets (used for driving sharpened stakes, customary for protecting archers from Cavalry charges, into the earth) or merely slipped daggers through the gaps in the fancy French armor.
The British may have a significant edge on the French when it comes warfare, but nobody plays in the mountains in with grace and style like the French.

Yes that is the one. For me it shed some light on the heritage the French Mountaineers draw upon-heroisim is a noble calling. Myself I am more of a peasant in comparison.
Would much rather watch this on the big screen than the TGR flick this Thursday, but for $12 I get a ski ticket out of it.
Will be downloading "Downside Up, T'es pas bien la?" shortly.

The download played back on my ps3 with no problems. Kick ass movie! The move with the sideways ice axe and the poles was some sketchy shit.

En ce qui concerne les montagnes, les francais sont tres fort. J'en connais un ici (Northern BC) et il est un vrais savant dans les montagnes. Il a vraiment la passion pour les montagnes.
Might be worth my $9.
