More info, 'Synapse Carbon' 137-109-125 in a 185cm and only 1625g. Very tapered in the tip and tail with a considerable full rocker all the way through. Look like a very good pow touring rig.

Armada has a new variable snow ski Called the Invictus in the 188 it is 138-108-128 26.5m turn radius.

Basically a wider version of this years ARVTi

The first ski I have been interested in trying from Armada in a long time

You're not alone. I thought the ARVTi was a pretty damn good ski, and a very good mix of Armada playfulness and charger.

Anyone can make a pow ski. Few make good true variable mountain snow skis. I'll be following this one. Thanks.

The Vipec video near the bottom of that thread is pretty nifty.

I saw this ski and it initially had me intrigued as well then I saw the longest it was made in was a 188. Fail

If no one has said it:
    Fischer Vacuum Tech boot.

I don't have a weight for it, but seemed decent.
Nice option for those of us who's insteaps make the whole Mercury/TLT6/Maestrale/Spectre debate a waste of time.

You can go ahead and subtract about 5cm for the true length.

    Volkl = expanding v-werks line ( v-works mantra...)

Rossignol = expanding air tip line.... (Light weight e98/88)

Pretty surprising? I think not, however probably a good move for both... I'll be seeing lots of new stuff next week in Portland but those are the two general things I have high confidence in.

I think they are actually adding true air tip to the Sin 7 and revamping the E88 with air tip. Not sure about the 98...

Looks like Carston posting a pick of a new Moment Ski 186 Chipoltie Banana looks cool.
If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

Maybe this time Plum will have more brakes and fewer breaks.

New Fischer touring boots are pretty sweet, dynafit certified tech fittings, ultralon foam liners, vacuum fit. Carpet Flex is comparable to the mercury or maestrale rs.
