Ha, sorry, I'm spoiled! It's actually really tough to get Lawson's up this far, only one place they deliver to and if you don't get there within a few hours of it coming in it's long gone, not to mention the one bottle limit.

    Edit for Tunez

Yeah see as soon as there's a limit or a process I'm out. Wake me up when I can have however much I want haha

Will it open? Best MTB in Vt. I wanted to move there in the 90's till the Driven One said it was "like MR without the snow". Times have changed and I am ready.

^^^ Awesome!!! (Also, awesome jacket that dude's wearing).

Speaking of exciting news here in the banana belt, if you haven't heard the mighty Whaleback is re-opening this year, driven by the Upper Valley Snow Sports Foundation. They're going the co-op route (like Magic & MRG), although with close to 2mil of debt, it's a long uphill slog. At least it means more fuzzy nights at the beer league for me this year

Whaleback re-opening is great news. May need to look into the beer league there. Had a buddy who did the beer league at Wachusett and it sounded way too intense.

Last time I did a beer league there were a cadre of then-current and former World Cuppers getting heated about the 30 sec tight GS course. So we flamed it. Each week was a different theme for our crew. Tikki torches and hawaiian shirts one week, switch on twins another, fat skis, hyper long skis, snowlerblades, etc. I was stoked to come within a second of one of the WCers on a fluke run on some Machete FBs. Of course, on a 30 second run that's not saying a whole lot, and at my tonnage I've got momentum like you only read about. :-)

Fuller, but not fullest. Still have my M-I-L to take care of down in PA. Unless she moves into a retirement home, we'll be splitting our time between PA and VT for now.

Buddy did beer league at Wachusett last year and there were a ton of former NCAA racers there. He said that the Wachusett All Star team would probably win Nationals for USCSA (the league that 92% of college racers belong to).

I'm just glad so few people are willing to ski that kind of stuff because I actually really enjoy it.

With you guys on that. Wildcat has some good rocks to ski.

Anyone going to Way of Life tomorrow in Portland? Ticket gets you a Saddleback ticket with only Saturdays blocked out according to the blurb at Allspeed.

Need to give BIG PROPS to ALLSPEED in Portland for really stepping it up with their ski shop.
