Anytime you are going between Bennington and Troy, keep in mind that the Big Moose Deli in Hoosic has awesome pulled pork. Unless you like sweet, get the original. They will pack the roll separately for travel if you aren't going to eat it right away. I personally like to put the slaw on it too, YMMV. Do not expect to eat it while driving; it's way too big and messy to handle on the road. I'm guessing it's close to 1 lb. total weight for ~ $8.

well used but still functional. Right now they're attached to a pair of similarly used bluehouse mavens which IMHO are the perfect skis for thrashing on a Magic Mountain pow day
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

heh, george hasn't seen but a few months out of the last 60 or more months above average for snow. sept was down. we could see maybe an additional 4-6 over the coming days from upslope, but......

less snow but more wind overall yields just as good as or better results oftentimes up there.

shit, a 150 inch season could still produce an epic winter/spring season up high if temps stay cold and the winds are honkin.

Who is coming to Kmart tomorrow? I'll probably be solo. Dark blue arcteryx jacket, gray variant brim, black I/Os, just like everyone else. Oh, and on a snowboard.

They're also offering a free burger or chicken sandwich plus beverage to pass holders Fri. in the K-1 lodge. Doesn't include express pass holders. Express pass holders who purchased before Oct. 17 ski free but that's the freebie that came with the card. Express card holders who purchased after the 17th will be charged $25.

I'm in for this season but won't start until they get a little bit more open.
