Apologies in advance for interrupting with news of ... skiing, but rumor has it that turns were made at Killington today.
Friday is opening day, though for holders of season passes and express cards only.
Saturday for the public.

At 1800' I am in the warm middle, kinda like living in between a pair of DD's, also only reached 79.6` for a high this summer. No depressing morning fog either, you should get out of the valley.
Harvested the last of the basil on Sunday, tomatoes still setting new fruit, though will be picking them tomorrow.
ML has mentioned that Gore is a great hill for skiing and look forward to getting there this winter. There is never unreasonable climbing [climbing that doesn't kill you makes you stronger, use the force], how about some surprize post holing?

Anyone heading to Killington this weekend passing though Troy on Rt 7 who wants a SCREAMING deal on ski equipment, let me know. I'm trying to re-configure the quiver into a smaller footprint now that I'll be flying to ski so most of my shits got to go. I'm in FL now but I've got well used Dukes, Dynafits, Zzero4's(non carbons) a bunch of well loved skis that would make perfect rock boards or Ullrfest sacrifices. Anyway come help me clean out my basement!!!
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was
