End of November, one weekend to spend riding. SLC or Denver
Quick question like the title suggests. Passing through both the weekend of 11/22, no experience with either. Alta and A-basin are high on my list to check out. Clear better early-season option for the touring and slackcountry-inclined? Or is it usually a crapshoot?

Too early for anything good unless we end up with a crazy good year. IF, and that's a big if any of the steep terrain is open you better have your rock skis. Sometimes the low angle BC comes in that early.

Passing through, as in driving? Might as well bring the rock skis and/or SL's.
Post back a day or two in advance for current beta.
FYI: I've had killer conditions at both pre thanksgiving.

Flying into SLC. Thinking of maybe driving between the two if there's something decent along 70. If not I'd stay in SLC, fly to Denver for a quick out-and-back.
