Skjersaas.For.The.Win!
Mounted some FFG Teams on Tychoons. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with.
"Will you set them up to run with tech soles?"
(Looks at boot) "No problem. Not much rocker in Titan soles, and plenty of toe height adjustment".
Can't think of a shop in PDX that would even consider doing that.
Also nice that one of the guys does a yearly "will work for skis" internship with Iggy.
The result - my first NIP skis/binders in 15 years. Gonna be the inbounds weapon of choice when it hasn't snowed for a few days.
Next project - they are drilling out another pair for dynafiddles around hammerhead inserts.
So start snowing dammit!

Nice setup. I gotta get down there & have 2 pair dialed in soon. Looks weak for the start of ski season. Skjersaas are cool folks...... they like beer.

weekend storm front predicted:
heaviest friday night into saturday
...HEAVY CASCADE SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS EXPECTED FRIDAY...
A STRONG STORM ARRIVES FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND WILL BRING HEAVY SNOW
AND WINDY CONDITIONS TO THE CASCADES. SNOW LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO
DROP DOWN TO AROUND 2500 FEET FRIDAY NIGHT. STRONG WEST WINDS WILL
RESULT IN PERSISTENT MOUNTAIN SHOWERS THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
EXPECT 8 TO 12 INCHES OF SNOW FOR ELEVATIONS BELOW 5000 FT WHICH
INCLUDES ALL CASCADE PASSES...AND GREATER THAN A FOOT OF SNOW
ABOVE 5000 FEET.
THERE WILL BE A PERIOD FRIDAY EVENING WHEN SNOWFALL RATES WILL
EXCEED ONE INCH PER HOUR...ESPECIALLY FROM MOUNT JEFFERSON
NORTHWARD. STRONG WINDS BLOWING THE SNOW WILL LIKELY RESULT IN
POOR VISIBILITY AND EXTRA HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS. THOSE
PLANNING TO DRIVE OVER THE CASCADES FRIDAY LATE AFTERNOON INTO
EARLY SATURDAY SHOULD PREPARE FOR WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS.
TRAVEL WILL BE CHALLENGING.
hoping to walk up sun morning for a few turns...(gotta negotiate weekend chores first)

This is an Oregon thread. ON3P reign supreme.

Beautiful skis are beautiful skis regardless of origin, and ski logiks are at the Bo Derek level (IMO of course)
Whatcha gone mount on 'em? Make sure they will fit a 322bsl mkay?
For the Bachy watchers, @1430pst Ullr was still hard at work bringing ~6" of fresh since 0600. Temp was 24f. Vis ~100 yards. Snow was coming down nice and light but getting blown around. Starting to spit a little at 7th Mtn.
Hopefully this is due to rubbing my Hammer of Thor often, or my constantly asking women in the area if they would sacrifice their virginity to the snow god Ullr, (with me as his proxy). No success to date on the latter - don't know whether it was the idea of sex with me, or none that i asked were virgins...

I've lusted for some ON3P's for a few seasons but free is a very good price so Ski Logic it is. I tend to go with Rossi/Look bindings & BSL of 323. Take your pick,I'm going into the season w/ 11 pairs of skis in the quiver. Drove over Santiam last night in a full on Blizzard. I can't wait to get up on the hill in a raging fill in your tracks face shots every run storm. You going up for the opener TbOb? PS-The women I run w/ can ski your pants off.

Oh yea, I'll be there 11/23. May go hike a bit up there tomorrow if the ceiling is more than 2 feet off the deck. Gotta dial in some tech binders I just mounted.
Ad I'm happy to ski with any ladies that want to get me out of my pants.

^^^if only photoshop can make the snow fall!
I didn't notice until just now, but those are Ullr's Chariots, right? Sweetest skis in their lineup, and my fav topsheet. And free is a fucking good price for those. Well done!
You gonna be there for the opening mang?

I'll be up for the opener unless Hell freezes over, then I'll ski there too. Prolly Skyliner chair, I'll call ya Sat. AM before the lifts spin. Yes they are the Ullr's Chariots, definitely my kind of top sheet and the price was right.

Cruised around Meadows today with Patatero and non-mag Dave. The base area was *barely* above the freezing line, so the snow was heavy, but super skiable. Lots of carveable windbuff in many places, transitioning to heavy pow once you got off the ridge a bit. Didn't see anything move other than an inch of windbuff here and there on convexities, and even then it was just sluffy.
Good turns in both Three and Four bowl, as well as some meadowskipping off Cascade liftline.

Patatero:
One more good storm will open a bunch of stuff up.

^^^^^ well done!
we were at white river today, and it rained all the way up until a quarter mile from the lot, then snow, but fairly wet
(family sledding, not skiing)
