I love skiing with my dog, and this picture cracks me up.

Found a little 40 degree mole hill on a low elevation corn, meadow skipping day. Thought the dog would go around, but she followed straight behind me like she always does. Thin cover captured the gnar:

Utah, who is Linus' Canadian alter-ego, ponders the next snow adventure. He wears the hi-vis vest so I can keep track of him in the deep stuff.

Linus might have took in one two many safety briefings in the back seat - hence his perpetual squint - Utah is very wide eyed

I did some trail maintenance last weekend, and brought Fauna with me. She's getting better (now that she's older) at not nipping at my skis when I go for mellow tours with her.

I hate quoting out of context

But I want to go up there.......
I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....

Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

bummed to have to say goodbye to Willie last week when he died unexpectedly, he was a rescue that my GF and her sister adopted together 6-7 years ago....he never pulled on the leash and we had some good times, including an early season skate on Green Lake a couple years ago...

But life is strange, and just two weeks ago the GF and I just adopted this awesome pup....she's 6 months old and loves the snow, can't wait to get her out more over the winter! We named her Dakota, which apparently means allies and we thought was appropriate!
