Mammut R.A.S - What other brands are compatible?
Hi,
Does anyone know what other bags are compatible with the Mammut RAS airbag system? I've heard its not just the Mammut bags but it will work with others.
Anyone know what they are?
Cheers

Nope. Mammut RAS is only Mammut RAS. There are many models of packs in the Mammut line, and you can swap the RAS airbag between pack bodies, but there's no other brands using it.

The mammut packs are the no. 1 reason for using the R.A.S. IMO. The new protector line is also a good reason.

Yeah I'd found the Scott ones, seemed that ABS had so many partners I wondered if SnoPulse/Mammut would have the same.
Scott bag looks nice!
Cheers!

Nice summary here

Basically...
Scott, Mammut, Snowpulse use RAS base units.
North Face, Dakine, Rossi, Arva, use ABS Vario base units.
BCA have their own system.

Totally forgot about Scott. I even looked at them at SIA last year. I must not have been too impressed.

They're better than the Ride bags, but not as good as the Pros, imo.
