What people make a year.
There was a thread a couple of weeks ago about what pro skiers make a year.
In todays parade pull out in the paper, the cover article is about what people earn.
Jessica Sobolowski is on the cover with $30,000 under her picture. She's not the top woman in the industry, but she's pretty high on the ladder.I think this gives one a decent impression about what most pros make.
Of course Qualtiy of life & fringe benefits must be factored in as well.Calmer than you dude

seriously....as long as i had enough money for gear, food, and travel i would be totally happy being a pro skier...
for me that would be like a 10,000 dollar a year salary

seriously, aint so bad. I make about that, but only like 4 or 5g's from actually skiing(coaching mostly) but just being in the mountains, even with a job, makes that salary more than worth it.
Would suck raising a fam on that though."Is it necessary to disdain the affluent Escalade driver in the ski area parking lot just because he never threw caution to the wind and gave up work, meat, and let his hair grow in the surreal international sojourn of powder skiing and self-actualiztion?"
WELL OF COURSE, thats why I am me and you aren't

Who cares????Why does it matter to you??What difference will it make to your life if you know what other people make???? These days people spend far too much time thinking about other peoples personal buisness/lives.....it's rediculous.

The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers once said, "Skiing will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no skiing."
Or was that something else they were talking about?
OK, who else is old enough to know what I'm talking about? In drove this drunken madman and stopped on a dime! Unfortunately the dime was in Mr. Rococo's pocket!
