wow hope you get to be somebody's hero.

unless it was the site of a failed proposal.

or you could make an indecent proposal to see how much it means to them.

You posted in the wrong forum, dude. Post in Ski/Snowboard. Maybe a mod will see this and move it?

Good for you for trying to find the owner. Was it on the snow or rocks at the top?

I heard there is a cute ski ranger lady in the park this year, so maybe someone lost it on purpose.

There is probably a very good reason that ring was left where it was. You don't "accidentally" lose a wedding ring on top of a mountain.

Call the Denver news stations. One of them is bound to pick up the store. They love shit like this.

So I found it right at the top of the climb, in snow. My guess is that someone had it on, or around their neck and when they got to the top they took off a glove or was pulling their gear and it fell off.
It was in the exact spot where we took off our gear so it would make sense.
I dont think it was on purpose based on where I found it.

Shit, I didn't even look at the date. WTF, davbks, why bump this thread? If you still have the ring this long, you didn't really put much effort to find the owner.

I lost my wedding band at Xtal quite a few years back. Not fun telling the missus. I had to get it replaced ASAP. Couldn't be seen without a wedding ring on my finger. For some reason all the chicas went nutz for me when they noticed I wasn't wearing it. I had to tell them the truth though. They were all pretty bummed that I was still off the market.

    Jeez - its yours already.

Go to a jeweler and see if its worth anything - might just be some faux junk that no one cares about.

    Was it a CTR ring?

Buddy of mine found one of those at the lower lot at Bogus.

I'm not pointing any fingers, but this thread is the worst, hands down.

The OP didn't really engage himself with finding the owner.

I can't quite put my finger on why I like this thread so much.
