MPC #108 "Vast" - 7/19-8/5

Thanks for the votes folks. This theme is fairly self-explanatory - "VAST" - big, wide open spaces, scenes, skies, or whatever else you can come up with. I'd like to get a sense that whatever you post is an endless expanse. Whatever else is in the photo is a bonus.

RULES:
1. Photos must be taken within the time period of the contest.
2. You may submit 3 photos during the competition.
3. The contest moderator will choose 5 photos to be voted on.
4. The winner will get a happy feeling in his/her pants. (That is a rule by the way, not an option.)
5. In the event of a tie, the contest moderator will have the deciding vote.
6. Winner will be the contest starter/moderator for the next comp.
7. The winner has 3 days to start a new contest or 2nd place becomes the new winner.

I didn't have much in the way of sweeping panoramas here in cozy New England, so figured I'd try another interpretation of the "vast" theme, relating to people.

Just finished a 6 week geology field camp through the Pioneers, Tobacco Roots, Beartooths, Bitterroots, Sawtooths, and Wallowas. Only the last couple areas are eligible though.
