I'd put about as much stock in OpenSnow's winter "forecast" as I would the Weather Channel.

This is only year three of the current drought cycle. The last drought cycle went for six years with one great Nina season in year five to break up six seasons of below average. By year six, things were so dry it took back to back 600 inch winters to break the drought.

Hang tight, it's going to be a few more winters before it turns back on in the intermountain west.
