Happy feeling achieved. But frankly, nature did all the work on that last one.

Monochrome is traditionally black and white. But I don't want to limit you to black and white. Anything monochrome.

Monochromatic colors are all the colors (tints, tones, and shades) of a single hue.

Monochromatic color schemes are derived from a single base hue, and extended using its shades, tones and tints (that is, a hue modified by the addition of black, gray (black + white) and white. As a result, the energy is more subtle and peaceful due to a lack of contrast of hue.

Let's see what you got. Subject matter can be anything you choose.

RULES:
1. Photos must be taken within the time period of the contest.
2. You may submit 3 photos during the competition.
3. The contest moderator will choose 5 photos to be voted on.
4. The winner will get a happy feeling in his/her pants. (That is a rule by the way, not an option.)
5. In the event of a tie, the contest moderator will have the deciding vote.
6. Winner will be the contest starter/moderator for the next comp.
7. The winner has 3 days to start a new contest or 2nd place becomes the new winner.

And I had to delete contest 12-13 due to character limitations. I think that may be a good way to proceed in how far back we want to display?

Yeah, not really the idea. Black and white is all shades of grey. My original intention of this was as either desaturated totally, or a complete color tone of your choice.

yeah i kind of had a feeling after processing.

#1 Just barely within the time frame, I upped the saturation a bit and messed with curves a little, otherwise no other colorization.
