Looking forward to this big time. I'm a little late to the game with El-P, having only grown to appreciate his music in the last few years, but I was blown away by Cancer for the Cure. Been a huge Killer Mike fan since he was on Stankonia and then followed that up with Monster. Glad the collabo was for more than one album.

Gotta say, first listen? Meh - aggressive, but lacking the impact of the last few efforts. Next few listens? Pretty pumped on it. Progressive beats + production, unique, hyper-confident flow and style...really enjoying it.

Listen through studio monitors or good cans and your mind will be blown first listen... or at least hurting from hitting the inside of your skull from the head bobs.

FKNA this show is going to be awesome! http://twilightconcertseries.com/ Between this one and TV on the Radio I'm pretty amped. Props to whoever runs this shit for booking them, I haven't seen EL-P live since ISWYD tour back in 07.

I just looked that concert series up. How can that be real? $35 for every show in the summer? Do they play like 20min? That isnt fair!

They released RTJ2 early. Listened to it on the commute in this morning.

I don't really know what to think. El-P seemed to over produce this one IMO. Less is more sometimes and it seems like he just tried cramming too much into each song for my taste. Maybe it will grow on me though. It's a shame because every song has tons of potential and then the hook comes in or a crazy awful technoesque drum loop comes in and destroys all that was good.

Hard to judge off one hungover listen, but it didn't immediately hook me the way the first one did. bummer.

This one? I don't think 2 very prominent people in the hiphop game are trying to infect your PC... But who knows. Downloaded it on my computer and put it on my phone. Neither has blown up yet.

Thanks, I'll give that try when I'm back home. I used the link in the email from them.
