Setting up email question
I've got nook that i've rooted to make into a useful tablet. I'm trying to set up an email account and don't know the answers to put in the blanks. The account is attached to my domain pc-ec.ca is it a pop3, imap, or exchange active sync. If I choose the later it asks me for domain and server. I ha no idea what to put in the server blank. How can I find this info?

Who is your email host? That will answer your question.

It is a godaddy account. When I log in online the address across the top is email21.secureserver.net/....... I've tried all kinds of shit and nothing has worked

Beaver - try these articles in GoDaddy's knowledgebase.

Disclaimer - I don't use GoDaddys Workspace email, I have an iPad, and I hate Android.
Good luck

If the account is set up on your PC then you can look at the account settings there. I don't use GoDaddy for email since they're so stingy with disk space. When I set up a new email account I enter the email address and the mail client queries the server and fills in all the fields for me. I prefer IMAP since the all the email is stored on the server and I can access it from anywhere. With POP3 then email is downloaded and removed from the server so it's stuck on one computer (unless you change the settings).
If you have a problem & think that someone else is going to solve it for you then you have two problems.

If you do not get it, call GoDaddy support. It probably is not a Exchange/Activesync (that is for a Microsoft Windows Server) a typical GoDaddy offering is Linux servers.
The pop3 or IMAP are most likely and you should understand the difference between the 2 as well as if you select pop3 whether you want to leave the messages on the GoDaddy server (if you check this account with more than 1 computer - then most likely you will want to select that option...)
