    MPC #105 The Flow 5/17 - 6/3

    The Flow
    Verb
(esp. of a liquid) Move along or out steadily and continuously in a current or stream: "from here the river flows north".
    Noun
The action or fact of moving along in a steady, continuous stream.

While the main motivation is that this is waterfall season, there are many things flow besides water, and water doesn't always flow. Since I felt Memorial Day should be included, and that would make getting a contest up by the following weekend unlikely, I went ahead and included the following weekend too. If you don't like it you can suck it, thus creating another 'flow'.

Also, as pertains to our previous discussion, i am going to drop 10 of the previous contests from the list below. Hopefully that will allow those first 10 to move back into the mix of usable subjects.

    RULES:
    1. Photos must be taken within the time period of the contest.
    2. You may submit 3 photos during the competition.
    3. The contest moderator will choose 5 photos to be voted on.
    4. The winner will get a happy feeling in his/her pants. (That is a rule by the way, not an option.)
    5. In the event of a tie, the contest moderator will have the deciding vote.
    6. Winner will be the contest starter/moderator for the next comp.
    7. The winner has 3 days to start a new contest or 2nd place becomes the new winner.

Lake Revelstoke last night. Sadly I screwed up 10 min worth of the 2 hour timelapse but I might still try to put something together. Fun to sit back and watch the curtains slowly shimmer back and forth.

I hope so. If any one goes for a woman's monthly flow, you should know there will be no happy feeling in your pants!

    Just because Powdork mentioned it...

Yeah? Cool. I've always been a footer but have really gotten into it lately since this guy and and another guy go 70 or so days per season so they are always available - I have the kids and we have weather or I'd be on the lake right now. Good wetsuits that aren't broken in too bad and you don't really get enemas of any sort. I wear shorties underneath when I am practicing new stuff as well. One of the guys I foot with that is extremely good buys a new suit every year.

This picture was taken only a few minutes from I-80 so if you're ever traveling through Iowa and want a set shoot me a pm.

It is probably obvious but I didn't take this picture with the MPC in mind. It fits the theme though so I entered it. We have high river flows here at the moment and crap weather so maybe I'll grab a picture with the MPC in mind later today.

when I went back in florida it was always with a guy that let us use the wet suits that he had already replaced for that reason.

Still hoping to see some thinking outside the box. Lots of things flow besides water.

Still got a few more days left. I have a couple of ideas, just waiting for the right conditions.

I'd like to have some more interpretive entries. I have a friend that's a hip hop MC I wanted to go shoot but that doesn't mesh as well with a 1 1/2 year old as does some time on the trail with dogs and him in a back pack...

    So, more water...

I had the idea of going with flow as more of a texture to objects.
