What is worse is people who see round abouts as a game to be won or lost... ie winning by not stopping but causing everyone else to stop because rather than going a reasonable speed that allows others to go in going as fast as you can without crashing. This clears the path for everyone behind the first douche to do the same and the roundabout becomes useless at its purpose until someone calls the bluff of someone else and goes in front to break the uneven flow.

I come home and find that she's trying to season my enameled cast iron Dutch oven on the wood stove. Just walked in the house to a smoking puddle of hot bacon grease in the bottom of the pan on a tamped down wood stove. I do it all the time with the cast iron but....

LOL!! Well historically I think people have been riding horses on trails longer than bikes so there is that pesky thing called "precedent".

And I know you're kidding about having trouble slowing down because spooked horse can lead to a rider's death easier than you think. I had a friend who died falling off her horse and the horse tripped at the walk. Come to think of it a woman I worked with died riding her bike when she caught her pedal on a cement post and went over the handle bars. It's a down right dangerous world out there!
