Fucking cool. If I had $18,000 or a ghey Rolex, I'd take that ship for sure.

It belonged to a good friend of mine handed down from his father, It was built in '43 in Edmonds WA. by a frugal Scotsman and had been in the family since the early 50's . He had it hauled out and put in his service station for about 10 years while he rebuilt the engine, replaced any bad planks and recaulked the hull, replaced guages and rewired the cabin and painted it, new tanks, Anything he thought it needed was replaced. It was launched it 2007 and sat behind his house in the water and was never used because of his declining health, He did run it and maintain it but it never left the dock. His widow sold it last year but I had to repo it a few weeks ago, unfortunatly it was neglected during that time and needs to be freshened up, I noticed a rub rail that could use some attention, and some bad spots of paint here and there.
It has a head up forward with a holding tank and overboard discharge, four bunks, and a dinette back aft with a propane oven/stove and sink with a new pump (cold only).
It's a wooden boat so it needs an owner that loves wooden boats and the time and expence to keep it in top condition, and although I like boats I have too many hobbies to be a wooden boat owner. I'll get some new pictures in a day or two after I clean it up a little.

It's beautiful. I hope you find it a good home.
Shut your eyes and think of somewhere. Somewhere cold and caked with snow.

Nice boat, I've always had a thing for the Lake Union style cruisers that were built around seattle, Blanchard was one of the local builders that comes to mind, is the
hull built carvel planked? or batten seam?,

I owned a 1941 32' Chris Craft sedan cruiser, brought up from seattle by a father and
son on their dream trip up the inside passage, they made it to the north end of the passage before they had an "event" where the rudder post dropped out of the bracket
and started flooding the boat, a fisherman saved them from a near death experience
with a reef, they tied the boat up in Pelican a caught a floatplane out of town, I had fun restoring the boat, but finally was happy to sell, since all I really ever did was
work on the boat, 80% work, 20% play,,
