    Bay Area/CA races this summer...

OK so I'm registered for Downieville...

    Downieville - www.downievilleclassic.com - Weekend of June 22.

X-Terra triathlon - www.xterraplanet.com - no 2005 schedule for MTB or stuff normal people can do yet...

Muddy Buddy - www.muddybuddy.com - June 12 in San Jose - I can't make it. They are fun though!

any other suggestions on good triathlons (road or MTB, preferrably MTB) and MTB races and the like in the bay/norcal area?

Biotch -- Just returned your call and left you a message. Give me a buzz back in about two weeks...

    Anyhoo....those sound cool..

    also check out www.tricalifornia.com

And www.tbfracing.com <- this is a group near me (Sacto vicinity) that puts on a shit ton of tri's & duathalon's. Don't know how long your going to be here, but they put on a great mtn bike/trail run duathalon during the fall.

edit: BTW -- Downieville is weekend of July 22nd not June. Just want to make sure your calendar isn't out of wack...

Northstar has a crap load of stuff.

    XC races every thursday evening.
King of the mountain (fastest to climb all the way to the top).
DH races about once a month.
    Lots of other stuff too.

Just keep an eye out on their web page later on in the spring.
