Flaming Lips - The Terror
This is the most I've been excited about the Flaming Lips since Yoshimi. Amazing album. Dark, ambient, psychedelic, layered, organized philosophical featherlight chaos.

I listened to it a few times and don't like it. Yoshimi is a much better album than this. I was hoping for better.

It's a completely different animal than Yoshimi... Tough to compare the two. This is far more grown up. I think this is closer to Soft Bulletin in terms of emotion, but in its own world in terms of sound. Dark magic.

Am I the only one who liked Embryonic? Thanks for the heads up on the new album.
But Ellen kicks ass - if she had a beard it would be much more haggard. -Jer

I liked Embryonic better than At War With The Mystics, but IMHO The Terror is the best they've done in a decade.
