Streaming ski vids on netflix (or amazon prime) ?

    Hey all,

I watched a trailer today on All.I.Can, which looks sick, and it got me thinking.. Are there any similiar vids on netflix? I did some searching but couldnt find any besides a boarding vid.

Hopefully this thread can be a place to share them if there are, or in the future if netflix gets their act together..

Oh and lets open the doors to amazon prime as well

Steep is (was?) on there, awesome doc on steep (extreme!) skiing. Also a few good mountaineering docs, a bunch of Everest ones. No proper ski porn though.

Also, Art of Flight is up there too. Snowboarding though.

180deg South is not necessarily a ski/board flick... but highly recommended if you haven't already seen or heard of it...

It is a slow paced narrative about adventure, environment and the history of Patagonia... Really well done.

Netflix used to have a bunch of older Warren Miller stuff.. not sure if they're still there or not?

I think MSP and TGR both sell their films on iTunes?

The Ordinary Skier is on Amazon Prime. I thought it was great. A bio of Seth Morrison... but what was most interesting to me was that it is a great look at Skiing in Chamonix.

Solitaire and Signatures from Sweetgrass productions are also on Amazon Prime.

I was just searching Netflix last night and could only find The Art of Flight. All the old Warren Miller stuff seems to be gone.

I had this same question the other night as I was searching Netflix. Art of Flight was all I found. Watched one episode, it was good.

If you guys liked 180 South (awesome)

You might like a documentary called Sweetgrass... which is about sheepherders in Montana

It is amazing. If Chris Malloy made a movie about cowboys this would be it.

    On Netflix

I getting antsy for the season and too lazy to look myself. What is out there these days for skiing flicks on Hulu, Amazon Prime and Netflix? I imagine the list has changed since 2013.

Yeah, the JJ trilogy is the best option on Netflix. Amazon Prime has some older Warren Miller videos. We use an Xbox One as our media center, and the Redbull TV app has a lot of skiing/surfing movies as well if that's an option on your smart whatever TV device.
