Negative. One bowl to the south of there. Stability was solid where we were. Felt very confident except for some windslab on the exposed sections.

Huh. I thought that incident was above Frazier Lake. That's the same place though, good to know, thanks.

No worries though. You guys were on an all new pack. Avy guys couldn't do a thourough investigation due to the crown being rained away. Yeah for climate change! We're gonna be the new Pac NW
Great pics BTW. I'm gonna go up this morning and see how things are holding up.

Was thinking of going to check out that area tomorrow. I'm new to the area and just trying to get myself oriented to the seemingly endless backcountry options out here. You think the snow will still be pretty solid? How was the hike in? A lot of hiking or can you skin the whole thing?

Any insight you're willing to part with about this spot or any other b/c around would be sweet! Also, if you're looking for a b/c partner, i still got ~2 weeks before my job at bridger starts and i'm skiing most days

Skinned from the car. Dunno how the road is now though...might be challenging. No real idea how the snow has changed in the last week and a half since I was there. You can check this out: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/244222988
For a better look at the distances s d the approach in. Lots of options up there to the north and the south.

    Thanks for that.

Very nice pics Overturn, funny how I was skiing windhammered a basin or two south of there the day before. Surprised how nice the snow looked in your line. You should come up when it's good sometime and shred some of that with us, KB.
