Day 1
The Grande is the phoenix of the San Juans. Always the first to arrive and the last to leave. Reborn anew each fall.

mi madre bought her retirement property at the base of the san juans. She knew thats what it would take to lure me in to take care of her in the golden years....

Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

careful out there with the early season exuberance, lots of dangers out there between the rotten snowpack, avalanche danger and lurking hidden rocks.

Family trip booked for March 13th-20th. Planning on one day of Silverton, one day of touring, one day of Heli, groomers with the family, and lots of beer.
