    Backcountry huts that allow dogs

I am trying to plan somewhat last minute thanksgiving hut trip. Anyone know any huts that allow pups in Colorado? Preferably one that has enough coverage to ski in and out. Thanks in advance for any input.

I would get your dog some service animal tags and a vest. As long as they are well behaved and your responsible, you should not have a problem.

I think the reason dogs are not permitted has to do with the snow surrounding the hut being your water source. Nobody wants to melt snow and find dog turds, or drink the yellow snow.

You are a piece of shit. The rules for handicapped people are there for a reason, and that reason is not for able bodied and mentally healthy to circumvent no pet rules. This is on par with able bodied people using handicapped placards to park in handicapped spaces. But that is just my opinion

^This, plus allergies. You'd be surprised the amount of man made yellow snow we find. I guess the outhouses need to be closer.

The High Lonesome Hut used to allow dogs but I'm not sure if they still do. There are some that allow them in the summer but that's the only one I can think of that allows them during the winter.
