    Shitty Snow

What's it like to ski shitty snow? I've never skied shitty snow like sierra cement or whatever. I only know sweet light dry fluffy white smoke of a continental snowpack, where snow amounts are not as high compared to a coastal range.

Behold my fluffy goodness, you bastard.

I don't care where you come from, if you claim to have never skied shitty snow you are clearly FULL OF SHIT or hardly get out. And btw, that Sierra Cement is some of the best shit out there.

Blower pow days are the awesome. I have to say we had way more opportunity and fun late season warm slush days. It wasn't epic by any standards but it was a blast. If you can't have a good time riding shit conditions you're doing it wrong.

Yeah man if you're not having fun then you're doing it wrong. I'd rather ski a day of ice over here in the NE than be at work.

What everybody else said, blah blah blah.

Higher water content snow is fun. You don't sink as much (all things being equal). Really heavy PNW snow can be tough if you're not sure what to do. It pushes back against you so you can tire out sooner. I felt that stiffer board(s) were beneficial so you don't get bucked.

Also, pretty douchey to categorize other folks' snow as "shitty". Different, sure. Better/worse? That's just your opinion man.

I would way rather 4 inches of 10% snow than 10 inches of 4% snow.

Not me. 10 of heavy covers everything. 4 of light just looks pretty.

Sierra cement is pretty underrated. You don't need nearly as much for it to feel bottomless.

Cascade concrete. Make strong like bull.

2 feet of depth hoar covered by a 2 inch thick lightly breakable crust of semi real snow.
I don't care what you're on, you're going to be riding on the leftover summer elk turds.
