i keep seeing pics of that manhunt at big bear and its snowing hard. is mammoth and/or the southern sierra getting any out of that system??
those pics look like more then the 2" mammoth reported. whats the word??

There was maybe 5-6 inches up high on protected slopes yesterday and another 2-4 today so maybe 7-10 total in select areas.

Its going to be a zoo up there this weekend but I am headed up from San Diego around 1pm on Friday 2/15 coming home 2/18 Monday afternoon if anyone wants to get a ride and split gas. Got room for gear and two people.

Question for mammoth locals: we're planning a mammoth > Tioga tour in April. We plan to go through Agnew Meadows.
Someone told me today that that's a popular snowmobile spot. Is this true? Something we should worry about? IE are we gonna be dodging snow machines the whole time? Thanks for any info.
