My adventure partner went to WV to ski without me, just because he could get out of work and I couldn't WhattheFUCK, MATT?!

And now it seems like all the cool kids are doing it.

First of all, I live in Ohio. Second of all, I have a stress fracture in my leg and can't go down to WV to get in on the action even though it is relatively easy access considering the storm since I 'm on the west side of it. SAD.

seeing as it ain't anywhere near winter here, this TR actually has merit..

An east coast "Anti-Stoke" thread? Sounds like a perfect home for AZ Greg.

Fat skis and AT bindings have made it so every Joey on winter break can ski ECBC trees. Then they wanna fucking blog about it. Where's the goddam discression?!?

I'm the best skier (back) on the east coast therefore I never click through to blogs, websites enabling lesser skiers to make money from my clicks via inferior skillz.

Edit: and skiing is about soul not $$ or "look at me!!"

I'm in DC. There is snow within driving distance, but I didn't bring skis when I came down two weeks ago as I wasn't optimistic enough to think I'd need them in DC in October...

The turbo on my Porche Carerra is acting up again. That means I'm going to have to take it in and get a loaner. All they have for loaners is the Cayman. My wife may leave me.
