Spent the afternoon on Link with Taylor. All of a sudden she just starts to turn. Then did some go right, now go left drills and she was LOVING it. Proud father moment for sure. Even got one "go faster dad".

Mine went up $87.00. For another $112.00 I could've had a full Alta pass, the thought briefly crossed my mind. Hopefully we'll at least get a coupon sheet again. I picked up a full pass for the boy, not a bad deal at $189.00.

Wow, $1099 for a season. Yep, a thousand was my price point.
It may be "only a hundred" from last year, but psychologically it feels like more.
What plans are on the board, besides the proposed SF expansion? I've enjoyed my time at Soli, but I may need to take my family where I can afford it.

Since it was hot and there is no snow, some of us Solisunday regulars decided to go shoot GUNS!!!
Although it isn't called Solitude, the West Desert certainly has it, the view from our shooting spot:
A nice recipe for West Desert fun, (supplemented by two more 12 gauges and a .357 sig pistol):
The setting of the targets (watermelons and cantaloupes):
Having fun with high powered cartridges:
A .308 win doesn't leave much of a watermelon, I wish I could've captured some images of the carnage.

Opening Day Friday Nov 12
The first resorts in Utah to open for the 2010-11 ski season are right here in Big Cottonwood Canyon. With another foot of snow last night, plus round the clock snowmaking we'll have Moonbeam, Link & Apex open!
