Would love to join y'all, but patrolling beckons (or at least requires my attendance) tomorrow. Will you all be attending to your thirst afterwards?
WAs up at Brighton today...it was much goodness. But the drive down took 2+ hours. I'm thinking I'll be at either Molly Greens of the Thirsty Squirrel (company permitting) tomorrow to kill some time and let the idiots get out of the canyon before I head down.
No pics from today.
I didn't really want to stop to take the camera out.
The spats were fun for my first day on them though.

Great morning (9-11) before I had to go to class. Lots of snow left to find and some very fast groomers.
I heard from a lifty that Honeycomb opens tomorrow? Anyone Know? It sure looked sweet today.

Patrol wont give a solid answer most of the rope lines went in today. My guess would be just the black forest ph side. Highway to Heaven did open today as well as Evergreen. Word has it there will be more rope and gates to access Catherdral/ Middle slope. Rb3 were you among the masses on the Evergreen booter?

A few flaws for sure. Single-hole, lock-out bathrooms on the main level create waiting lines. Downstairs bathrooms are o.k., but you have to go outside or take the elevator - an interior staircase would have been good. The square tables are probably too big, but that is more of a concern for management than the customer. The serving line will be frustrating on a busy day, but most lodges have this problem. Busy weekends will be a challenge - could be chaotic. The upstairs deck will be great in the sunshine.

Holy crap!!! I'm mad as hell, those lying Solitude bastards, they are still claiming 2 inches. The Summit was the goods, Honeycomb was sublime, faceshots were everywhere.
This was the lightest storm of the season so far, you could blast through over knee deep snow.
Good to ski with Yetiman, Canuck, and Canuck friend Jeremy. No Woodsy sighting today, at any of the pre-discussed meeting points.
It looked like this all day:

^^^ Nice. Long time no face shots.
Looks like some of the locals were unhappy w/ the new day lodge and built there own. I didn't play any role in this constuction project and just found it yesterday. So it may be inappropriate for me to name it but i'm calling it Woodsy's Inn

Way to get it Bob.
I'll be arriving Christmas day and departing New Year's Eve - six days of skiing, yet unfortunately no Solisunday for me. Are you going to be up any during that week?
