Dog Friendly Lodging at New England Ski Areas

Tapping the Collective for info on dog friendly lodging at New England ski areas. Ski in/out preferable. I'm finding a few; most pretty expensive.

The Lodge Vermotn at Magic (it has a new name, but I don't remember) has dog friendly rooms. Its 30 yards from the Magic parking lot. Not expensive.

You can't tell him about the lodging accommodations and NOT talk about the Dog Friendly Chairlift services they provide as well.

ISBD - Thanks for the info. The reviews on that place are pretty polarized. Know anything about it?

I stayed there ~3-4 years ago (before they changed the name, I think). Was clean and comfortable for a reasonable rate. Nothing special.

More recently I've been staying at the Colonial Inn in Weston. Their site says they allow pets for a fee.

Here's what I've found to date. Accommodations based on two people and one dog during non-holiday weekdays. Research ongoing.

Sunday River - Dogs of property owners allowed. All others not allowed.
Jay Peak - Dogs allowed in two specific condos that have not been updated in a very long time. Only sleeping option is a pull-out queen. Around $350/night.
Stowe - Dogs allowed at The Mountain Lodge for around $350/night. Extra $75/reservation pet fee. Someone must be with the dog at all times.
Sugarbush - Dogs allowed at Clay Brook for around $550/night with lift tickets. Dogs not allowed at the Sugarbush condos.

We stayed at the Mountain Lodge during the offseason with the dogs while house hunting. Doggy beds, bowls, and gourmet biscuits in the room. We all cried when we had to leave. I fought the dogs for a biscuit. There are a few sites that list dog friendly hotels/motels/B&B's but I'm thinking you've checked those out.

In southern VT, the Bromley View Inn is super pet friendly and is ten minutes to Magic and Stratton and five to Bromley. Check out the website under "your hosts".
