Thread: Euroland Search & Ride Event

Winter seems to be just around the corner and loads of you are chomping at the bit to hit the snow. So I am looking to organize a maggot search and ride event mid December in the Tyrol. Right now I'm seeing how many may be interested. The program would include a basic re-fresher on transceiver use, selecting terrain, organization of a search, equipment talk and of course some proper riding. This would be a weekend event and low budget. My aim is to better prepare and educate riders for the coming winter.

it looks like there will be enough interest to put on this event - thanks for responding quickly!
I am looking into the weekend of the 8-9 December and holding it in the Zillertal or elsewhere in the Tyrol. Seems they have gotten more early season snow than elsewhere. Stay tuned for the details.

Ok here the latest update for this event:
Timing, weather, etc has dictated a change in the dates and location
When: December 15-16
Where: Chamonix, France
Price: 95€ pp for the 2 days
What to bring: Personal ski gear, including avi equipment, skis, skins
If you can't make this one don't worry I will be offering another one at a later date TBA as well as a week long free ride program for 4 lucky individuals in late January.
