Awesome. Was up at round top a couple weeks ago, can't imagine skiing that line(cmc). Hope you win!

Nice moon vid. We got about fifty feet up today and found some firm conditions.

This one summed up yesterday for me. Blower and smiles.

Holy crap I haven't ever seen that many chippers on 80 and 50. Short month, extra quota I guess. Witnessed at least 12 speeding tickets issued between Fairfield and Placerville.

^ Would obviously be choosing terrain wisely, though the winds haven't seemed so severe on the north side (Alpine yesterday, Tahoe Donner last night) and it looks fairly calm in TD right now.

Shitshow on 88 this morning, SUPER icy in some spots. So icy, in fact, that a bus and a few other vehicles decided that the middle of the highway was the most ideal spot to chain up.

Glad I was only the third car behind this mess.

Cool vid.....good music, and skiing tempo. fun to just see standard conditions, techy skiing (not just the average powfest).....easy to play along from home.

Jakes se side was today, as it was on thursday.

Good though in the trees on climbers left of the ascent gulley.

Ranging from powder, to breakable to dust on firm.

    But fun nevertheless.

today was again filled with awesome. went solo with nacho and tested out the newly dynafitted kusala pows in their element. video downloading now. suffice to say they slay the pow (they slayed nacho too, maybe now he'll learn)

have excellent pictures and video from the last week as a result of this sorry excuse for a storm.

this snow will transition well into corn, too...

already drooling over the thursday/friday forecast.

You must be doing it wrong. Found some nice soft snow at KW. In spots. Okay, it was a bit stuff in spots, but I was shocked how well certain runs were skiing. We were boot deep and I was instructing a few ten year olds on where to drop a cliff. Fun times.

Powdork, you need that Kusala through a icy chute. Then you'll really be in love.

A good few days in the mountains.

Around 8:30, the rain made for some unsuspectingly slick spots.

Sleeper day at Alpine, if you knew where to look. I spent the day on Sherwood, and found fun turns in various places. The best were in the Shuttle Cornice and the trees to the right/uphill of the Bakery. Even got a couple of runs in with LightRanger.

^^^ Agreed. Lots of fun turns off of Scott, if you knew where to look.

Whoever set the High Traverse around the back, set it way too low, made for an interesting hike back onto the right side of the mountain after we had gone to far. It was worth it though as the top portion and the protected areas were pretty wind loaded and super fun.

Summit was a blast in the morning before the masses (if you could even call it that) arrived.

Plenty more stashes to be found and sampled tomorrow.

Does anyone know if squaw will have a bike park this summer? I thought they used to have a super rad park, then a few years ago it was downgraded.

Has it been downgraded to nonexistent or is it still around?

    Thanks.
