Claremont (LA) Premiere of The Dream Factory, Further, Sunny and WE -- November 3rd

The Claremont Colleges Ski & Snowboard Team is hosting our Snowstock film festival on Saturday, November 3rd this year. As in years past, it's on the campus of Pomona College in Claremont. However, new for this year, we're showing 4 different films, all for $20. The festival starts at 3pm and ends around 10--come for as much or as little as you'd like.

Visit snowstock.blogspot.com to buy tickets (and buy early--our new multi-film format means there are half as many tickets for quadruple the number of films). Also feel free tp join our Facebook event page at https://www.facebook.com/events/472574032766030/ for the latest updates.

    Here is the lineup:

3:30pm: WE: A Collection of Individuals -- Poor Boyz Productions
    5:00pm: Sunny -- Level 1 Productions
6:30pm: Jeremy Jones' Further -- Teton Gravity Research
8:30pm: The Dream Factory -- Teton Gravity Research

Bumping it up, the festival is 1.5 weeks away. I know there are a decent number of mags in the LA area, so it'd be great to meet some more of you! Beers in the parking lot and no one's checking in the theatre, so anything goes. Just try not to get us in too much trouble with the administration.

I will be there with Mrs whyturn and my ski cohort Pray for Snow. Should be a great TGR double feature
I need to go to Utah.
    Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?

    B,
Will the usual free grub/drinks, raffles, and vendors be in attendance at the event? Is the parking lot beer kinda 'unofficial'?
This thing has blown-up: Good on you CC maggs...

Walk down to the Greek Theater at the wash on south campus if you want some afternoon beer. Throw a few bucks for the keg to whoever is organizing it.

Tell 'em an alum invited you.

Beers in parking lot/theater are unofficial (just don't make a huge scene and you're fine), and Greek Theater is always an option usually starting 5pm or so (I can provide directions). Mt Baldy is out this year after they failed to keep their promises either of the last two years, but Eagle Point Resort from Utah will be on hand raffling off free lodging to go with the unlimited free skiing for California residents this season. We'll also have giveaways from SPX Clothing, Outdoor Technology, TGR, and FD Wear. Food trucks will be right outside the theater, but I can't say exactly what they'll be serving yet.
