50% off sale
is what the sign said on a shop here in spokane. neat, i thought, because i want some public enemies i think. the thing is they put an "original price" sticker on em that says 475. bullshit. those skis are 379ish just about everywhere, including this shop about a month ago. still a decent deal, but that was a dirty trick on their part i think. scoundrels

$475 at 50% off is still a good deal. The store is not making anything on that.
Also I think the $475 is the reall, full MSPR. no one sells for that, but officially that is full price. The street price is $375 (a bit of a deal and on sale)

04 or 05 PE's? If they are 05s than thats a good price, but little steep for 04's eh?
05 MSRP is $500 and they are going for around 400 when i have seen them.

Why are these skis so cheap? At that price I wouldn't mind picking up a pair and throwing some old bindings on just to mess around in the park with.

EDIT - I, too, think it's bullshit. I bought 189 Pistols at 40% off, anticipating them to cost $360.00...since they were charging $599 for them all season. Instead, I go in to buy them, checkbook in hand, and the price has mysteriously jumped to $750.00...who pays 750 bucks for skis, besides Igneous owners and people who live in Aspen? Anyway it made the new price $450...which is still 90 bucks more, but it's better than paying 599...
I'll find some way to make up the extra 90 bucks.
