And with that being my milestone post....I got nothing other than saying MORE STOKE please!
Closing weekend at MRG. Still have pre-buys at the Bush and Smuggs. Who is going to help me turn my pizzas into french fries?!Last edited by Bottleman; 04-04-2013 at 10:11 PM.

The weasel clan will be descending upon Mad River Glen tomorrow. Guard your eggs, people.

That was great, Scott. I sometimes ski with an 80 yo friend, who is no where close to slowing down, so I plan to show him this!
Love that he's sill quaffing Martinis, too.Screw the net, Surf the backcountry!

Summit forecast on Washington is calling for -10 tonight with some crazy winds. I may be reconsidering my camping plans, so much for spring....

Or on the ridge! Hahaha. Yesterday or today would have been the days this week to be up there. Unfortunately, I was committed here. No high George for me this weekend. Out for tomorrow mostly because I got the cross eyed look from the wife but now that I see that forecast not really interested. Possibly Monday or Tuesday if winds settle down. Shooting for Reggae fest weekend at the Loaf the following weekend but if not will be somewhere in the Prezzies. Dress warm this weekend.

Finally getting to the end of my longest skiing hiatus of the season. So that's what "week days" feel like.
Magic is making noise on FB about how attendance tomorrow will in large determine whether they remain open for another weekend. Everything skied so well last weekend, especially Black and Twilight Zone, with crazy amounts of snow on the mountain. I will definitely be there although I doubt I'll cook up anything for "Costume Day." But I will have a lunch spread similar to this one (with some special treats from The Cheese Traveler in Albany):

I want to ride ammo but don't want to deal with the weather. Is it still fun if you stay below tree line?
People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

Looking down the line yesterday.. I tested first with a real snowboard w/ edges, then hiked back up with the surfer after finding where the wind moved all the snow

Haha... yea. I've got all the gear for full on winter camping, just not what I had in mind for tonight.
Thankfully all this new snow up high should just postpone/prolong corn season, that'll work for me.
Tomorrow will find me pond skimming at Attitash if anyone else is down...
I'm carving in a mustache tonight and will be rocking the red fartbag on neon 'sploders or a purple and yellow number with jeans on matching Pow + depending on when/how wet I get.
