What happened to Jonaven Moore?
Anyone know what happened with that guy?? Was def one of my favorites to watch??

Last I heard he's surfing on Vancouver Island the past few years. I saw him 2 years ago in Japan, he sounded like he was tired of the performance circuit and wanted to try something new. I got to watch him ride some fine lines, it was really a treat. Definitely a man with a special talent.

I'm pretty sure he just kind of went Guch on everyone. That is, decided to pursue his own personal next step in snowboarding and not care what anyone else has to say. After his cameo in Deeper, he's been totally off the radar. He was a ripper, though. Rips lines with the best of 'em.

He told me back in July that he was gonna move up to Haines with Scotty Wittlake. Sounds like they were working on some big plans.

I camped for a night on Jonaven's land last year. A friend of a friend of a friend. Super nice guy and couldn't be more gracious. Last summer I ran into Sage at a taco truck in my neighborhood. Also very friendly and approachable. Is this a theme? Some of the biggest badasses in the mountains seem just as polite and humble as can be? Not even a whiff of attitude from these guys.
