Hokkaido 2011-2012 (where all the snow was)
Just put together a little video of myself and Clayton Kernaghan (owner of Black Diamond Lodge). Yes it is mostly go pro and I apologize ahead of time for only have two of us and not caring about filming that much. This summarizes life on Hokkaido in the winter pretty well at Black Diamond Lodge.

Nice! Was just contemplating Japan over Christmas this year. Is Dec 22-Jan 6 too early to go? Any advice?

Should be plenty of snow falling and more and more terrain opening by the day on Hokkaido in that timeframe.
Most expensive time in the Niseko Resort Area though.
