    FS: New Belgium RMU Apostles

    Hey there,

I'm selling a pair of new, unmounted, and award-winning RMU (Rocky Mountain Underground) Apostle skis with New Belgium Brewing top-sheet! (Approx. 20 pairs produced)

The popular 2011/2012 Apostle ski has attributes that raises the bar as a one-ski-quiver. A 5-point progressive design allows the ski to turn quickly and carve like a GS ski on the firm, while tip/tail taper and rise give you stability, confidence and float on deep days.

The 175cm dimensions and weight were not listed on the website, so I contacted the company directly for the specs below:

    Dimensions: (tip-to tail) 122-128-105-116-110
    Radius: 17.3m
    Camber: 4mm

Very rare and bound to become a collectors item, you can hang 'em up on the wall - better yet... rip around the mountain with this high-end ski that will make heads turn.

Shipping will likely be via Fed-Ex.

    Shoot me an offer!

    Thanks.
    Keith.

I offer a half eaten BLT.
Perhaps you'd be more comfortable on epicski or Paula's Ski Lovers, AltaNancy.

Meh, $101 and a whole blt. Figure I should make an offer since I live in FOCO and all of my beer friends would oooh and aaaahhh over these. I can't see them becoming as popular as their bikes though or worth much as a collectable. I used to like and frequent New Belgium until they quit their free beer tasting.

Looks like the op had these on craigslist and ebay, auction ended with no bids at $350.

Interesting. I think it's a neat graphic... on a popular ski that sold out last year at $800. Does the topsheet devalue the ski?

I actually like the graphic, I think it's more the standard TGR procedure when people don't post a price which they're supposed to do in FS ads.

That might be one of the ugliest graphics I've seen. But really, no one here gives a shit about you selling a ski that you won at some ski movie premiere.

    You're entitled to your opinion.

Yes, I won them in a raffle, but they are still a unique ski that I don't plan to use that perhaps someone would enjoy.

I'm honestly trying to sell them to get rent paid for next month.

I'll gladly take down the thread if everyone is offended by this situation.

They're now up on ebay, starting at $250, for those that are interested.

if these were 185, i actually might bite, for like 250-300. alas, they're not. ain't that a bitch.
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.
